Guided Imagery & Music can naturally provide clarity by working with images, emotions, and body sensations. This method is a different experience compared to traditional talk therapy.

The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a music-centered, depth-oriented approach that uses carefully selected music as the structure for inner exploration. In a session, you listen to a curated program of classical or instrumental music while a trained facilitator offers gentle, non-directive guidance. The focus is on what naturally emerges through imagery, emotion, body awareness, and meaning-making, then integrating those insights in a grounded way.

GIM can be offered as individual therapy, group experiences, immersive retreats, and as a training framework with supervision for clinicians. Across formats, the method is defined by intentional music selection, a clinically held container, and a process that supports both exploration and integration.
